Meme coin glossary

Plain-English meanings of the terms on MemeViewAI: signal, X gain, ATH, found MC, volume per minute, whales, freeze authority, bonding curve and more.

Signal
MemeViewAI's first alert about a token, sent when it starts trading actively. The price and market cap at that moment are kept for good and every gain is measured from them.
X gain
How many times the price grew after the signal: the highest price since the signal divided by the signal price. 3× means the price reached three times the signal price.
ATH (all-time high)
The highest price a token has reached since MemeViewAI started tracking it. "% vs ATH" shows how far today's price is below that high.
Found MC
The market cap at the moment of the first signal.
Market cap (MC)
The token's price multiplied by its supply: what all of its tokens are worth at today's price.
Volume per minute
How many US dollars of the token traded in an average minute. MemeViewAI lists tokens trading at least $1,000 a minute.
Milestone
A multiple of the signal price that a token reached: 2×, 5×, 10×, 25×, 50×, 100×, 250×, 500× or 1,000×. Each one sends a Telegram alert and is recorded on the token's milestone page.
Whale
A wallet worth $10K or more in total, counting SOL plus every token it holds. The Whales column counts these wallets among a token's 20 largest holders. Whale buys can move a small token's price a lot.
Freeze authority
A permission on a Solana token that lets its creator freeze holders' tokens so they can't be sold. MemeViewAI leaves out tokens where it is still switched on.
Mint authority
A permission that lets the creator make more tokens, which can dilute holders. Rug Check shows whether it is still on.
Bonding curve
The launch stage on Pump.fun, where the price is set by a formula as people buy. When the curve fills, the token moves to a trading pool such as PumpSwap.
Pump.fun
A Solana launchpad where anyone can create a meme coin. New tokens start on its bonding curve.
PumpSwap
The Solana exchange where Pump.fun tokens trade after their bonding curve fills.
Liquidity
The money in a token's trading pool. Low liquidity means a single trade can move the price sharply and selling can be hard.
Rug pull
When a token's creators or insiders pull the liquidity or dump their tokens, leaving the price near zero.
Contract address (CA)
The token's unique address on the blockchain. Always check the address, not the name: copies of popular tokens use the same names.
Meme-price notation
A short way to write tiny prices: 0.0₄7901 means 0.00007901, where the small 4 counts the zeros after the decimal point.
Volume spike
A token trading at least $50,000 in an hour and at least 3× its average hourly volume. MemeViewAI sends a "Volume spike" alert when it happens.
Peak X
The highest multiple a token reached since MemeViewAI's first signal, the same as its X gain. The leaderboard ranks tokens by it.
Rug Check score
MemeViewAI's 0–100 safety score for a Solana token: under 40 High risk, 40–69 Caution, 70+ Low risk only when every source answered.
Holder concentration
How much of the supply the largest wallets hold, leaving out the liquidity pool. When the top 10 holders or one wallet hold more than 30%, a few people can crash the price.
Sniper
A wallet that buys in the first seconds after a token launches, often to sell into the first wave of buyers.
Bundled buys
Several buys in the token's launch block from wallets linked to each other, often the creator's. They can hide how much of the supply one group holds.
Smart Money
Wallets that were among the first 50 buyers of two or more Solana tokens MemeViewAI called that later reached 3× (last 90 days).
KOL (key opinion leader)
A crypto influencer. MemeViewAI shows how many known KOL wallets hold a token and how much of it they hold; Pro sees their names.
DEX (decentralized exchange)
An exchange that runs on the blockchain, such as PumpSwap or Raydium on Solana. Meme coins trade there before, or instead of, big exchanges.
Slippage
The gap between the price you expect and the price you get. Thin liquidity means higher slippage.
Log scale
A chart scale where equal steps mean equal percentage moves. It keeps a token that went from $0.0001 to $0.005 readable on one chart.
